joy of the UNEXPECTED

Hi, it’s me again, back!

The past days , I felt some joy, unexpected joy..that comes out of the unexpected !

I saw her & she saw me.. in the club.. she recognized me.. & I remembered her, I said, alsalamu 3alaykom (hi ), smiling she asked me how r u? & happily I replied al 7amdullelah (thank God ) , 3amla eh? (how r u )I asked her , al7amdulellah ya benty( fine,kid), she replied.. where have u been..i don’t see u around a lot?  .. in life,I replied.

It was a very sweet friendly short conversation, that was so valuable for the meanings & feelings it bears.

Last time I saw her was almost 10 years ago, I was in the club’s basketball team then , for some years afterwards I kept playing basketball at the club & used to wash my face & do wudoo’ in this bathroom , where she stays to handle paper tissues & maintain the bathroom cleanness, I used to step by smiling & giving His..that’s all the kid(me ) did, & that what she used to do back !

That’s all I knewof her & that’s all she knew of me.. smiles & Hi’s.

I guess that was enough for us..for me to keep smiling & saying HI everytime I pass by her..& for her to leave such an influence on me… & her friendly kind smile was enough to light up my day & refresh my memory & make me feel remarkable – I mean can be remembered by somebody- after at least 10 years !!   

Never expected !!

Then I said, peace be upon the messenger MUHAMMAD ,when he said :

Narrated Abu Dharr (ra): The Prophet (sa) said: “Do not regard any good deed insignificant, even meeting your brother with a cheerful face.”
